Consulting

Good news, everyone! I have some time until the end of the year to help with your software development woes. The kind of woes that still exist in this era of coding agents and other AI tools:

• Software development best practices (CI/CD, PR reviews, automated tests, test coverage, branching strategy, etc.)
• Architecture and design
• That legacy app no one wants to touch, even with a coding agent
• Feeling stuck, or needing an extra pair of hands for a while

Tell me your woe via direct message, a comment, or email at chris@saturdaymp.com. Or just reach out with a question or to say hi.

It’s fall, at least in Edmonton, where the leaves have been changing and falling for a while. I’m curious if we will get snow this year before Halloween. I give it a 75% chance based on what I remember, but my memory is faulty and I gave up on finding actual statistics after an online search or two.

Now I feel like I need to post a picture of leaves or something. Social media is hard for me. I guess I’ll take a real picture and not create an AI picture. Wait, are blogs considered social media? Well, for me they are. Anyway, behold Edmonton on a lovely fall day.

No Omar this week, so I decided to answer a question I get frequently: How do I get started with consulting? Be aware that the advice is worth what you paid for it.

The feature image was generated using the free version of Google’s Nano Banana. Took several prompts to get this image, which is not exactly what I wanted but close enough.

Have a question you want answered in a future video? A challenging or interesting problem you want to see solved? Constructive feedback? Then comment, DM me, or send an email to ask@saturdaymp.com.
